The Ashmolean Britain's First Museum

TE Lawrence's Arab robe, an entire Japanese tea house and the best Aegean history collection outside Greece are amongst star exhibits contained within the newly refurbished Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. The new extension to the existing museum, designed by award-winning architects Rick Mather, means that the museum now boasts 39 galleries - a world class building to match it's world-class collections.

Comprehensive Wayfinding System

We were commissioned to design, project manage and implement a holistic wayfinding system encompassing both the old and new parts of the building. The system - which is easy and cheap to update - conveys information in a cool, consistent and authoritative way whilst standing distinct from exhibition graphics and the exhibits themselves.

What they said

...their work was an essential part of the museum's redevelopment, translating the museum's new brand identity into a wayfinding scheme that guides visitors on their journey through the museum.
