The Roundhouse
The famous music and theatre venue of the Sixties and Seventies. Originally a vast circular train shed, it has been completely refurbished, and has reopened. Pink Floyd were founded here. The Ramones concert in 1976 kick-started Punk here. Stage nudity began with Oh Calcutta! here.
Victorian Modern
The architecture is a marriage of restored Victorian and out-and-out modern. The sign scheme followed this blending of old and new; Atelier Works created a special stencil version of the typeface Clerkenwell. This was then spray-painted directly onto the concrete walls. A crude technique, but very carefully done.
